Paper, paper just about everywhere on a D&D desk, and no motive to not adorn it with stickers. Get your fellow players sticker sets of their course. Slap them anywhere you retain stickers — or decorate your mundane merchandise listing, or maybe the folder you keep the character sheet in, or the notebook you're taking notes in, or your dice tower.
